Welcome to the 2010-2011 School year! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
A little about myself: I grew up mostly in Texas and Wisconsin. I have a wife and two kids. My daughter Ayla is 3, my son Ryan is 4 months, and my wife is ...oh yeah, I'm not suppose to tell! I'm a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Bucks...so don't say anything bad about them!!!
I started out coaching football in 2004. I also have coached Track and currently coach JV Baseball. I obtained my degree from AIU and teaching certification in the summer of 2004 and began teaching in the 2004-2005 school year. This will be my 3rd year teaching at Staunton River and really enjoy it here. For the last two years, I have been attending Walden University. This August, I finally earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I have since enrolled at Radford University in a program that will enable me to become a Principal.
If you ever have a problem or concerns, don't be afraid to come see me. I will help in any way possible.
I see each student as the individual they are and believe they offer unique backgrounds that can contribute to a positive learning environment. I believe that all students can learn and learn in different ways, so I will adjust my teaching strategies to the learning styles that best fit the students in each class.
Once again, I look forward to meeting you all and hope we all have a successful school year! |
