Welcome to Chemistry. You will need to discipline yourself to study in order to be successful in this course. Please take this advice.
1- You will memorize the chemical symbols and names of 112 elements. These will be given in groups of 20, with the final group of 12. (This is not as impossible as it sounds.)
2- You will also begin the use of the periodic table and its usefulness.
3-Atomic Theory will be introduced.
4- Early famous chemists and important individuals and their impact on chemical theory.
5- You will get used to classroom routines that will make a great learning environment.
